BURGLAR (late)2022-02230138, 2000 block of 14and N. St. At approximately 12:40 p.m. on February 23, police were dispatched to a late report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 2:38 a.m., the unknown suspect entered the apartment building, stole a set of keys, and entered a secure office space. The suspect then searched several rooms and stole a safe containing an undisclosed sum of cash, personal documents and several additional sets of keys before fleeing on foot. The suspect is described as a black individual, gender unknown, with long braids, approximately 30-40 years old, wearing black pants, a multi-colored jacket, white sneakers and carrying a beige bag. The investigation is ongoing.

BURLGARY (late), 2022-02230183, 800 block of S. Greenbrier St. At around 3:40 p.m. on February 23, police were dispatched to report a late theft. Upon arrival, it was determined that between approximately 5:00 p.m. on February 18 and 1:00 p.m. on February 23, the unknown suspect(s) broke into the victim’s storage unit and stole various building materials. There is no description of suspect(s). The investigation is ongoing.

ILLEGAL ENTRY (late), 2022-02240244, 1000 block of N. Randolph St. At approximately 7:47 p.m. on February 24, police were dispatched to a late report of a break and enter. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 10:45 p.m. on February 23, the unknown male suspect broke into the secure residential building and attempted to enter other secure areas inside before fleeing. walk. No items were reported stolen or damaged. The suspect is described as a medium-sized black man with long black hair, wearing a blue and yellow jacket, black pants, white shoes and a blue mask.
