  • The plugin attempts to automatically detect and complete configuration values
  • The code looks up the binary path of the kernels, using the values ​​of the process’s PATH environmental variable.
    Note: The BurpSuite binary, unlike the standalone BurpSuite jar, may not have access to the current user’s PATH variable.
  • The target template path is calculated based on the default kernel template directory, configured under /.config/nuclei/.templates-config.json
  • The name of the currently logged in operating system user is used as the default for the template author configuration
  • The user can decide to display the generated model in a dedicated window or integrated under “Generator”, in the Nuclei tab
