- The Irish are back on the road as they travel to take on the University of North Carolina Tar Heels on April 2 at 11 a.m.

- After ten games, Madison Ahern leads the team with 32 goals.
- Madison Mote reached a career high in goals and points against Duke with five goals, two assists and seven points.
- Maddie Howe reached a new career high against the Yale Bulldogs with seven goals.
- Hannah Dorney leads the Irish with 19 turnovers caused and currently ranks second in the ACC with an average of 1.70 turnovers caused per game.
- Bridget Deehan ranks first in the ACC in saves per game (8.70) and fourth in save percentage (.442).
- Notre Dame is coming off a 2021 campaign in which it finished 11-7 and earned an NCAA Tournament berth.
NOTRE-DAME – UNC SERIES
- The Irish and Tar Heels will meet for the 12th time on Saturday with UNC holding the overall advantage, 10-1.
- Notre Dame and UNC last met in the 2021 postseason in the ACC Tournament semifinals when the Irish lost 18-4. Prior to the ACC Semi-Finals, the two met in the regular season where the Irish kept things close in a 10-11.
- In the last encounter, Kasey Choma led the Irish with three points, two goals and one assist.
- Bridget Deehan made six saves in front of the net before Lilly Callahan stopped a shot from relief.
ALL AMERICAN GIRLS
- Madison Ahern and Kasey Choma were named Midseason All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse/IL Women on March 31, 2022.
- Five Irishmen have been named Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans, including Kasey Choma (second team), Madison Ahern (HM), Maddie Howe (HM), Jackie Wolak (HM) and Bridget Deehan (HM).
- Kasey Choma was named to USA Lacrosse magazine’s All-American pre-season team and was also ranked among the top 50 college lacrosse players at #34.
- Both Choma and Ahern were named to the USA Super Sixes roster for the 2022 World Games on March 30.
NATIONALLY RANKED CHOMA
- Kasey Choma was ranked 34th in the nation by Inside Lacrosse in December 2021.
- During her career, she played 25 games, scoring 67 goals on 131 shots. She picked up 29 ground balls and 29 draw checks.
- She currently sits second in the team in goals with 30 goals in ten games.
AHERN ON ATTACK
- Madison Ahern leads the Irish team so far in the 2022 season with 32 goals.
- She picked up her 100th career point against the Virginia Cavaliers in a 12-10 Irish victory.
- Ahern tied his career high with six goals against No. 3 Syracuse on Feb. 26, 2022.
- She tied her career high twice this season against Syracuse and Jacksonville.
CLUB 100 points
- In the 2022 season, two Irishmen scored their 100th career point.
- Kasey Choma scored his 100th point in the 20-5 win over Jacksonville on March 13.
- Madison Ahern picked up her 100th career point in the thrilling 12-10 win over the No. 13-ranked Virginia Cavaliers.
- There are three active players who have surpassed the 100 career point mark; Maddie Howe, Kasey Choma and Madison Ahern.
